Cameroon has a large population without access to electricity and there is currently a very low market penetration rate of solar systems of approximately 17 percent. Cameroon’s Vision 2035 outlines the country’s development policy goals. However, the country must overcome several challenges on the way, as it faces unprecedented power cuts affecting businesses and industries to grow.
